Hello, I'm Dr. Scott Berkman, a board-certified pediatric urologist proudly serving families across California's Central Valley. I earned my medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, then completed my internship in general surgery and residency in urology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. I went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric urology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, where I focused on the surgical and medical care of urologic conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.
I hold board certification from the American Board of Urology with a subspecialty certification in Pediatric Urology. Since 2017, I've had the privilege of caring for children and families dealing with conditions such as undescended testicles, hydronephrosis, vesicoureteral reflux, phimosis, and voiding dysfunction, among many others.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, I strive to make every family feel heard and understood, no matter their background. My approach combines the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques with a warm, patient, family-centered philosophy of care — because treating a child well means treating the whole family with compassion and clarity.
